DESCRIPTION

A unique opportunity on a 6-month fixed term contract to lead the execution of our global recruitment strategy across our UK and Europe region. As we transition to new technology platforms underpinned by cloud-based infrastructure and Artificial Intelligence, you will be partnering with business leaders and HR stakeholders to deliver results for our evolving business. You will help us think differently, bringing a passion for Talent Acquisition and technology, while leading the hybrid Talent Acquisition team to success.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Partnering with talent acquisition leadership, HR Business Partners, business leadership and shared services, and you will define and align recruiting strategies, policies and services with the overall business goals and focus on delivering on the recruiting needs, per plan.
  • Results oriented, you will focus on driving recruiting projects, in close collaboration with our RPO partners. Build partnership with the Business leaders to ensure our execution plans align with the business needs as well as create opportunities to help Business drive improvements in recruiting.
  • Providing policy interpretation for line human resources, shared services and third party providers.
  • Collaborating to develop and deliver the change management of recruiting processes, policies, technology, and recruitment teams. Bring best in class TA practices from the EMEA region to the team.
  • Establishing and analyzing key recruiting metrics, develop continuous improvement initiatives for processes and technology.
  • Establishing relationships with and participating in local and off-site recruiting related functions.
  • Overseeing and monitoring adherence to all governmental regulations in the pre-screening and post-employment process.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations applicable to recruiting; driving adherence to all governmental regulations throughout the recruiting process; collaborating with our immigration team to ensure compliance with all immigration regulations.
  • Ensuring our employment brand is reflected in all recruiting communications and technology, including recruitment advertising in all types of media.Coaching and mentoring recruiters and recruiting teams; assigning work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs.
  • Work with the TA Director EMEA and other TA Leaders in the region to review our priorities, performance to ensure that we have an aligned approach in the region.
  • Closely collaborate with the Global TA Teams to drive innovation, process improvements and offer EMEA perspective as we shape global policies and procedures.

This role is on a hybrid basis with regular travel to other sites, therefore you would need to be based a commutable distance from one of our sites. We're ideally looking for a January 2025 start.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Significant external talent acquisition leadership and senior stakeholder management experience within a dynamic, multinational organization, ideally in a manufacturing / engineering environment.
  • Robust experiences and success in delivering strategic and operational talent acquisition initiatives within the Europe region, with a deep understanding of the culture, and regional laws and regulations.
  • Proven people leadership skills and comfortable with managing remote teams.
  • Enthusiastic about the use of technology with talent acquisition, with experience implementing leading edge technology and artificial intelligence to support the hiring process.
  • A deep understanding of external talent markets within the region, leveraging talent mapping tools to provide insights to the business.
  • The ability to leverage data and analytics for resource planning as well as partnering with the business on talent acquisition strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Significant level experience required in talent acquisition leadership
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of recruiters and external providers
  • Enthusiasm and understanding of integrating new technologies and AI into a recruitment process.
