Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to lead the development of our High-Performance Computing Infrastructure (HPCi) software. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design & development of cutting-edge software solutions that enhance our power conversion systems, drive continued growth of our hardware platforms for the software, and be a champion for development of market leading cyber security solutions.

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Oversee the new product introduction (NPI) software development process, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define development priorities, specific program scopes, goals, timing, and deliverables.
• Lead the development teams to ensure programs have a high on time delivery (OTD), achieve the desired technical outcome, and are within the planned budget.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in software development or similar domains.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading engineering teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
• Understanding of cyber security standards, certifications, and development & testing methods.
• Experience with software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience developing and applying solutions using the HPCi and Visor ecosystems
• Cyber security certifications
• Experience in the energy sector or with power conversion systems
• Knowledge of cloud computing and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
