Some examples of assignments are Product/Project Management, Data Analytics, Information Security, Cyber Security, Application Architecture, Data Modeling, Web Applications, User Experience/Interaction Design, Cloud Technology, Software Development, Electrical Power Application and Optimization and DBA (Oracle & SQL Server). Essential Responsibilities:

GEV Interns are GE's primary pipeline to full-time employment opportunities as a direct hire. GEV Interns are hired to focus on a particular area based on availability of positions, the interviewer's assessment, and the applicant's preference. Focus areas for this internship will be in Grid - Software Solutions within Services - Technical Delivery Department.
The intern assignments, typically 12 months fixed term placements, are dynamic and challenging based on the business needs and the type of work required. Interns have significant exposure to key Software and business leaders at GE; as well as a global internship support network to accelerate learning and development.
Qualifications/Requirements
We are looking for an "AI/ML Software DevOps Engineer" intern to join our talented pool of experts shaping the future of the Grid:
Below the basic Qualifications required:
- Fresh graduated from the University
- Bachelor's, Master's at an accredited university in Saudi Arabia or Internationally
- Degree focused on Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Data science
- Must commit to work full time during the internship.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be based in Saudi Arabia and willing to travel if needed
Desired Characteristics:
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis
- Experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
- Candidates with strong interests and academic qualifications/research focus in: Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and/or Generative AI
- Deploy and maintain machine learning models in various environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, familiar with containerization tools loke Docker and Orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
- Prior intern experience in software, electrical engineering, power systems or relevant area.
- Excellent team player whilst maintaining an independent perspective.
- A strong commitment to a career in technology and passion/aptitude for both software and electrical engineering.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in software industry standards and development tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly in English language
- Demonstrated creative problem solving and proactive learning.
