The Role
The Marketing Applied Sciences (MAS) team develops data science-driven solutions to help GM achieve business goals. As a Senior Strategist - Media and Testing, you will lead strategic planning, test and learn and in-house model adoption for Media.
This role is part of Activation Strategy within MAS and embedded in media organization to understand objectives and help enable those objectives through effective data science and test and learn.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships , ensuring alignment and action
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Media, Data Science, Marketing, and Vehicle Brands to develop strategies and roadmaps
- Manage project deliverables , track tasks, and drive execution
- Define audience modeling and optimization requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Lead enterprise level test-and-learn initiatives , driving structured experiments and optimization strategies
- Develop clear, compelling presentations to support strategic goals.
- Mentor team members and colleagues on best practices related to communication, collaboration and driving team goals
- Be a vocal leader in large and small group settings

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- 5+ years in Advanced Analytics, Market Research, or related fields
- Expertise in media targeting , audience development, or marketing analytics
- Strong experience in client-facing roles with senior leadership presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills - ability to translate ideas into concise narratives
- Experience in cross-functional team alignment and decision-making.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with experience in testing and learning initiatives
- Familiarity with audiences, segmentation , and media operations and strategy a plus
- T echnical knowledge of data analytics , modeling, and experimentation (preferred)
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze holistically and execute decisively
What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications)
- Master's degree or MBA (preferred, but not required).
- Experience managing large-scale audience measurement programs.
