Hybrid : This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to an Innovation Center in Roswell, Georgia, Austin, Texas, or Warren, Michigan, three times per week, at minimum.

The Role

A Scrum Leader is responsible for driving the development process by conducting agile ceremonies and ensuring the appropriate development framework is effectively implemented within the team. A scrum leader manages resources, stakeholders, and timelines; they provide leadership and guidance to project teams and ensure effective communication and alignment with organizational goals throughout the lifecycle. A scrum leader guides the team in self-organization and self-improvement. They promote collaboration, remove impediments, facilitate meetings, and ensures the team's focus to enable the successful and timely delivery of product increments.

What You'll Do

  • Continuously monitor and report on project status
  • Provide guidance and support during execution of change management activities.
  • Manage the identification, documentation, and traceability of business requirements.
  • Prepare presentations for various levels of leadership.
  • Develop tracking scorecards and metrics to illustrate status and ownership.
  • Develop milestone reviews for the key milestones and ensures the team is on track to deliver.
  • Track business resources and identify any shortages based on project plans.
  • Coordinate the input and approval of various project design and decision documents.
  • Assist Workstream Leaders in managing multiple efforts simultaneously across a broad range of functions, business, and organizational units.
  • Monitor project progress and consolidate status reports.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the processes and procedures relevant to own work area with the ability to exercise decision-making skills sufficient to identify and propose solutions to leadership.
  • Independently identify and apply appropriate company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Determine an appropriate course of action within broad guidelines and can handle nearly every standard or typical request independently.
  • Apply learned techniques to drive the solution to a problem, which typically will involve coordinating and integrating efforts of a diverse team of colleagues.
  • Engage in daily interactions with subordinates and/or peers from other functional groups. These interactions typically involve the exchange or presentation of information.

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Knowledge of a Project Tracking program (i.e., ADO, Jira, etc.)
  • Experience administrating and configuring Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow or similar tools preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Strong Organizations Skills
  • Ability to connect many moving issues and solutions.
  • Facilitation Skills
  • Coaching and Mentoring Skills
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution
