RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Lead Safety Specialist is a technical position responsible for supporting site implementation of the Workplace Safety System. The Regional Lead Safety Specialist is a technical position responsible for supporting the implementation of the Workplace Safety System at Silao VAP
Is the Lead safety professionals to support a site and/or region in the implementation of safety processes.
- Develops valuable strategic direction that drives successful execution of Global Workplace Safety Strategy Deployment at the site/regional level.
- Responsible for driving successful execution of the annual GWS action plans at the sites, providing Site GWS Champions with clear direction, education and tools to be effective roadblock busters for their respective functions, requiring local/regional regulatory requirements and GM requirements are understood, implemented, and assessed at all managed sites.

- Partners with their peers to share and demonstrate good practices across their sites, supports the site operations leadership and other key GWS functions at the sites
- Meets with union representatives and works through resolution of issues
- Assists or directs the resolution of government safety violations or citations *Performs other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge / Qualification :
- Industrial, Mechanical Environmental, Engineering, Business or related.
- Experience required in similar positions: 3 years.
- English Level: Conversational Intermediate
