Work Arrangement- This role is categorized as On-Site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Technical Center Korea located in Bupyeong, Incheon full time.
The Role -
The role of the Systems Engineering team focuses on cross-functional and complex system development in the vehicle development. As a global organization, we collaborate with the North American team to ensure that all intended requirements and functions of the features
and systems are met and performed. Therefore, we aim to strengthen our capabilities in the vehicle development process by recruiting personnel with extensive experience in the field of systems engineering

What You'll Do -
- Ensure domain features meet customer needs.
- Support development and update of requirements and SFMEAs with proper traceability
- Verify feature functionality through simulation, bench, and vehicle testing.
- Coordinate activities between GMNA Systems Engineering and GMTCK teams.
- Troubleshoot system integration issues (hardware, software, calibration).
- Support system safety activities related to domain features
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) -
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, Computer Science or related Engineering.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of GM Serial communications (VIP), and embedded controls.
- High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and negotiate effectively.
- Ability to work thru complex integration issues, working with cross-functional team
- Military Service: Completed or exempted; no restrictions on overseas travel.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools like DOORS, Jama, etc.
- Experience with system modeling tools like Matlab Simulink and MBSE.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) -
- Understand Systems Engineering methods & Functional Safety (ISO26262)
- Experience with NeoVi (Vehicle Spy) Tool / Vector Tool / ETAS
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methods.
- Basic Understanding of software programming
- Knowledge of DFSS
- Experience in EV / chassis / energy design & controls / validation / calibration / performance / mechatronic systems.
