The Role :
The Role: Facility Management Representative (FMR) will be the customer contact for all building activities at the site. The FMR will coordinate service delivery to ensure tenant satisfaction. Work requires the ability to make decisions based on established procedure. Work is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS; focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). Use of independent judgement.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Building operations liaison
- Liaison between plant organization and Facilities organization
- Liaison between internal and external service providers
- Provide operating plant's site and building facilities expertise Assume responsibility for sustaining the existing facility assets
- Utilize PDPM process for delivery of projects <$1 million
- Provide site requirements and local support for major corporate and product programs managed by others
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering during major product programs
- Assist in diagnosing repairs
- Prepare engineering calculations as required
- Lead Facilities maintenance personnel with the operation of plant systems: Including but not limited to: HVAC
- Non-process power backup systems - UPS for computer room, diesel generators, etc.
- Evacuation sirens
- Facility related control systems
- Lead Facilities Sanitation organization with operations - Including but not limited to: Layered Audits, SOT's/SCT's, STS review, Cost savings support
- Manage facility data and utilize CAFM process for maintenance of records and information
- Track status of facilities related issues
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Develop and maintain a corporate database of facilities needs based on local plants forecasts
- SA (Service Agreement) Contract Administration
- Develop forecast for plant and corporate database
- Estimate cost for new projects
- Develop cost savings initiatives
- Approve invoices (materials purchased and received, engineering, etc.)
- Participate in Process Risk Management (PRM) process and assist in resolution
- Implement / support all Environmental initiatives
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to implement and apply GMS principles
- Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area required
- Relatively high level of analytical ability where problems are complex
Additional Description
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent training and experience
- 5 - 8+ years' experience pertaining to facilities management/maintenance
- Strong experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in documentation of standardized work
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent skills in MS OFFICE
- Ability to adapt to different interpersonal styles and communication methods
- Experience with SA provider and contracts
