Hybrid OR Remote : This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of [Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, or Milford], you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum

The Role:

The Business Intelligence and Network Design team, part of General Motors Customer Care and Aftersales division, is seeking a highly motivated, creative problem solver who has a positive, solution-orientated attitude to drive the creation of new sources of business insights for both internal and external customers. Knowledge is power and the ideal candidate will understand how to mine, wrangle and store big data in effort to create and harness information used to make decisions. What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to uncover data-driven solutions to successfully resolve issues.
  • Support command center style meetings to drive cross functional execution.
  • Able to adapt to large Network Design studies and evaluate outputs for optimal actions.
  • Operate with precision and urgency.
  • Document your work and processes.
  • Provide continuous improvement of existing reporting tools and drive the development of enhancements including but not limited the automation of existing manual reports.
  • Create new reports and various other dynamic tools in support of our changing business needs including the creation of interactive dashboards.
  • Understand / improve existing supply chain network models and drive development of new ones as business needs arise.
  • Manage and implement network-wide strategic projects.
  • Monitor, manage and create key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain positive working relationships with cross functional stakeholders.

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Finance, Business Management, Supply Chain or related
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse or related
  • Minimum of 2 years of IT experience, database management or related
  • Knime, Data Guru, SQL , Postgres, Java, Excel, Optilogic, Coupa, or Python or in combination
  • Understanding of big data and how to analyze and create a story to solve a problem Understand/Improve existing network models and drive development of new ones as business needs arise
  • Understanding of and working experience with database pipelining and data warehousing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead diverse/cross-functional teams as well as mentor, motivate and elicit work output from peers and other team members.
  • Provide continuous improvement to existing business tools ensuring ease of use, creating new reports and various other changes that make them robust for our changing business needs including but not limited to automation of manual reports and creation of interactive dashboards

The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.

The salary range for this role is ($85,100 - 135,900). The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
