Work Arrangement:

Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to their primary location three times per week, at minimum, or other frequency dictated by the business.

The Team:

Within the Product Development Engineering Student Programs, we aim to create an environment where college students can build foundational skills, gain exposure, and gain understanding of our business. We do this by providing engaging co-op assignments, networking, and developmental opportunities.

Upon completion of the program, successful participants are matched to opportunities based on interest and business needs.Positions will be in Southeast Michigan with opportunities in Warren, Milford, or Pontiac, MI.

Required Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in the Kettering University co-op program
  • 2025 High School Graduateor current Kettering University Freshman-Sophomore
  • Pursuing a degreeinMechanical Engineering & Electrical Engineering
  • Demonstrates leadership in field of study, extra-curricular activities, or service organizations.
  • Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week

Additional Description

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this role is $4000-$4300 monthly, dependent upon class status and degree.


  • GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2025 Student Program.
