Job Summary
Geisinger ConvenientCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established urgent care team as a second provider per shift, in Dallas, PaJob Duties
Our clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more. Routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services are also provided.

Office Hours - Monday - Friday 8:45 am – 8:15 pm
Saturday & Sunday 7:45 am – 6:15 pm
- 14 rotating shifts/month.
- Work every other weekend.
- No overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts.
- Call – approximately six nights per year
- No direct patient call – for critical lab, CT, etc.
- Six observed holidays - Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day

Experience is required - Due to the autonomous nature of the position, advanced practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one and older and have a minimum of six months advanced practitioner experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care.
