Job Description Summary
Model Based Enterprise (MBE) Program Manager, responsible for operating in lockstep with product management teams to create a clear strategic direction for development needs and conveys that vision to the build and/or operations team. You will direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Product Owners and Developers.

- Lead MBE initiatives to enable new business capabilities.
- Coordinate and lead MBE cross-product program management initiatives and objectives (e.g., Big Room Review (BRR), standard work, training).
- Execute on MBE cross-product Lean objectives (e.g., conduct MOR updates, WOR, action plans, metrics).
- Establish deep network with various stakeholders within GE Aerospace and collaborate with them to identify MBE priorities.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the GE Aerospace business processes, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
- Work cross-functionally with product owners (e.g., MBSE, MBD, MBA, MBM, MBQ, PLM, DTE) to align activities and deliverables.
- Analyze enterprise solutions and develops a road map along with an implementation plan.
- Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout the domain.
- Partner with business leaders to align projects with business goals and needs.
- Participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.
- Communicate effectively both within immediate team and GE Aerospace leadership.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Project Management/Product Management in the MBE/PLM space.
Eligibility Requirement
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
- Hybrid role in either Cincinnati, Ohio or Detroit, Michigan area.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of Model Based Enterprise concepts.
- Strong program/product management skills.
- Experience with SCRUM/Agile software development methods.
- Understanding of Lean continuous improvement principles and methods.
- Experience with Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Quality business processes and tools.
- Basic knowledge of Computational Geometry concepts/application (e.g., NX).
- Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) configuration and customization (e.g., Teamcenter).
- Basic knowledge of "Digital Thread" concepts.
