Site Overview

Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India's defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India's aerospace ecosystem.

Role Overview:

  • Responsible for production & professional hiring, both internal and external hires for the Pune Plant
  • Responsible for the wing-to-wing recruitment process, including but not limited to, managing job posting and process compliance, job launch, sourcing and screening of candidates, interview arrangement, candidate tracking and weekly status updates to business partners. Facilitate interview feedback sessions, prepare salary proposal, extend verbal offers and issue Employment Agreements
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and develop expertise in their business and talent needs to create diverse talent pools and pipelines
  • Collaborate with People Leaders and HR to ensure a positive candidate's experience
  • Utilize proactive and innovative sourcing strategies utilizing various techniques to meet the hiring demand of the business
  • Partner with local government bodies or institutions for career fairs
  • Responsible for liaising with recruitment agencies, Job Board vendors and weekly reporting of TA metrics
  • Coach People Leaders / interviewers to incorporate Careful Selection assessment during their interview
  • Challenge current processes and highlight opportunities to improve on our Lean journey
  • Effectively use social media tools in alignment with GE Aerospace Brand Strategy
  • Provide ad hoc market intelligence data to business

The Ideal Candidate

  • An ideal candidate is able to engage candidates' and people leader effectively to ensure a smooth hiring process and a great candidate experience. Able to strive in a fast paced environment managing multiple task and adapting to changing business needs.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Post-Graduate in Management with 3+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Manufacturing hiring preferably from Aerospace Industry
  • Experience in Employer Branding, TA process improvement and TA Projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to utilize social media and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn) for sourcing candidates.
  • Analytical skills to assess recruitment metrics and improve processes.
