The Finance Productivity Leader will provide dedicated focus on cost performance for the Commercial Engine division. This role partners with a cross functional team to influence results using analytics, system insight, validation, and best practices to help the business achieve cost-out.

The candidate will need to demonstrate capability in cross functional team alignment, a mindset for analytics and an in-depth knowledge of cost pools and how they are influenced.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations to drive Hoshin Kanri priority for cost. Structure new process to measure, validate, and analyze results of those efforts to better drive outcomes. Provide upstream analysis to help identify focus areas of projects and events.
  • Lead FP&A for cost and productivity for Commercial Engines. Improve, simplify, and de-risk reporting. Partner in coordinating planning efforts between product line and supply chain.
  • Financial lead for enterprise-wide capital requests. Provide insight and analysis to determine if investments are favorable by understanding impact of SQDC. Ensure operational alignment and understanding throughout the process.
  • Governance over standard calculations of productivity business cases and Prodigy projects
  • Create insightful analysis that leads to project creation, prioritization, and/ or improved project management
  • Drive consistency of process across PL's, supply chain, and other divisions.
  • Lead CEO wide cost analysis and projects that impact multiple product lines
  • Communicates difficult concepts and influence others' options on cost topics. Ability to guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting/Finance
  • Prior experience with manufacturing cost accounting and reporting required
