The Program Manager for the Engine Trading and Leasing Team will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of aircraft and engine transactions, including contract management, customer and supplier set up, coordinating success aircraft and engine purchases, and performance tracking and reporting. This role requires strong project management skills, aviation industry knowledge or enthusiasm to learn, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful aircraft and engine trading programs.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Lead the execution and closing of aircraft and engine trading deals, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of engine transactions. Develop and manage project timelines, risk and mitigant, and deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial, operations, technical, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment on objectives and seamless coordination throughout the entire deal lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and proactive reporting on a yearly, quarterly, and bi-weekly basis
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, and potential trading and leasing opportunities. Use this data to inform senior leaders strategies and decisions.
- Contract Management: Oversee contract execution, compliance, and ensuring that all transactions meet regulatory, financial, and risk avoidance standards.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve processes, tools, and systems used in the engine trading programs to drive efficiency and increase visibility
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track trading and leasing's performance, providing regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommend improvements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure trading and leasing targets are on track.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (in Business Administration, Communications or Marketing preferred) from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of program management experience.
- 3+ years of strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with an emphasis on business analytics.
Desired Characteristics:
- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in aviation or equipment leasing a plus.
- Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing large-scale and high-value transactions.
- Lean background is ideal.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and forecast performance trends
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
