Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Trainee, you will develop your skills in maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and calibrating CNC machine tools and control systems under the guidance of experienced mentors, all in preparation for a future role as a CNC Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
- Skill Development: Perform various maintenance job functions to build knowledge, skills, and abilities in mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic control systems.
- Technical Training: Work directly with proficient mentors, receiving work directions and learning essential maintenance techniques.
- Diagnostic and Repair: Develop proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing CNC machine tools and related equipment.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Associate degree in Mechatronics or a comparable degree, or 3 years of verifiable experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding and demonstrated proficiency with CNC machine tool theory, diagnostics, and repair.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, or lift parts up to 50 lbs. using proper ergonomic procedures.
Desired Characteristics:
- Prior Aircraft Engines machining experience
- Must be able to use computers and learn Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in the English language.
- Experience working in a high-performing team-based environment.
