Job Description Summary
In this role you will work with suppliers to ensure capacity, readiness and raw materials are positioned to support delivery schedules. You will gain visibility over sub-tier supplier performance and constraints and help suppliers influence their sub-tiers to resolve issues affecting their deliveries. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. Includes Manufacturing Engineers.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Fundamental understanding of Lean processes to resolve part and supplier constraints
- Own commits and improvement plans at PN level, leveraging order book review
- Drive execution of NPI, design changes, or transition plans
- Identify & execute action plans around PN/ Supplier constraints
- Drive raw material reviews & ensure Suppliers data integrity
- Manage data, understand enablers to drive supplier On Time Delivery, utilizing Supplier Expectations Performance Management (SEPM)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience. (or high school diploma with 4 years of manufacturing experience).
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
