Essential Responsibilities:
Software as a Service intern assignments are impactful and challenging based on the business needs and the type of work required. Interns have exposure to the Software as a Service leadership team and the GE Aerospace intern network to accelerate learning and development. Interns also have extracurricular opportunities to engage in various activities both socially and professionally. Interns are one of GE Aerospace's pipelines to full-time employment opportunities either as a direct hire or as a member of one of GE's world-class early talent leadership programs.

In this role you will:
- Be responsible for providing analysis of operational flight data as well as producing reports and presentations.
- Prototype, design, build, test and deploy analytics models and scorecards in agile methodology.
- Work with data engineers on data quality assessment, data cleansing and data analytics.
- Respond to customer support requests across airline FDM programs.
- Support specialized safety studies and assist with the analysis of data for incident investigation.
- Develop proficiency with the GE SaaS EMS Flight Analytics toolset.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's Degree program at an accredited university or credentialed software accelerator program.
- Degree focused in Computer Science, Software, Aerospace, Data Science & Analytics, STEM majors.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding.
- Reliable transportation, as many of our sites do not have public transportation available.
- Willing to work in Cincinnati, OH or Austin, TX but open to remote positions.

- Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in software, aviation or relevant area.

Benefits:
Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
