Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity and of quality for all manufacturing procedures for rotating motors and alternators.
- Identify P& E, define investment and expense needs, driving from preparing for approvals till completion.
- Ensure all engineering designs, specifications & technical data are complete& accurately documented.
- Translate engineering BoM into manufacturing BoM including item master creation, defining routing in Oracle.
- Establish & document manufacturing process through Manufacturing Process Plan.
- Prepare PFD, PFMEA & execute risk reduction projects across Loco lines.
- Interface with customers, vendors and other functions in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed.
- Work with Customer on process and product improvements.
- Work on Process engineering of various components of Rotating Machines Lead all Process Qualifications for Rotating Machines.
- Work with CFT team for PFMEA, EHS & Quality Improvements.
- Support on equipment layout plan, facility modification, and equipment installation and inspection acceptance.
- Establish and improvise the manufacturing processes, support & maintain standard work development.
- Drive cycle time reduction, cost out, Lean VSM & Kaizen events.
- Participate in design reviews with Engg/TTA and take actions to improve the manufacturability of the product.
- Monitor & improve Product cost, productivity while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality & compliant manner

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical / Electrical from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in manufacturing industry.
- Experienced in Rotating machines manufacturing processes.
- Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma knowledge & training.
- Proficiency in Lean, Oracle applications & MS Office • Strong EHS Background
