Job Description Summary
As a Demand Forecasting Analyst, you will be responsible for the commercial planning and forecasting activities and processes that are a key component of the Unison Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. You'll be responsible for developing market-driven demand forecasts for a variety of products, market segments and business units. You'll play a critical role in driving the S&OP process; providing leadership for the demand planning/forecasting process and demonstrating leadership skills to drive strategic alignment between commercial and supply chain teams.
This role has independence in achieving commercial and strategic objectives within operating budgets and operating guidelines. High levels of Commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support S&OP Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings and reviews; including the development of presentation content and recommendations.
- Utilize tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, Spotfire and the Oracle ERP/APS system to build and develop analyses and tools to improve the demand forecasting process.
- Uses internal and external data sources to analyze historical demand patterns, perform statistical analysis and make recommendations for forecast changes as required
- Perform root cause analysis for demand changes and forecast accuracy defects to drive improvements
- Demonstrate decision making skills to create optimal monthly product/channel forecasts
- Enhance forecasts with market and sales intelligence as possible
- Act as the key contact for demand management inquiries and activities for assigned customers, products, markets
- Collaborate across the Unison enterprise with critical S&OP functional areas such as: supply chain, operations, sourcing, sales, customer programs and finance
- Developing S&OP presentation material and SLT recommendations, presenting content as required
- Requires domain expertise in the aerospace industry and a strong commercial awareness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 9 years of experience in Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and/or Commercial Operations)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and/or Commercial Operations
