Role Overview

Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

The Ideal Candidate

  • In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
  • Prepare comprehensive business/financial forecast, report and/or analysis
  • Conduct annual budget planning per business growth strategy, create vouchering systems projects and maintain the projects account based on business change or update
  • Conduct monthly billing based on team vouchering record, analyze the budget spending to meet annual target
  • Support China engineering team to achieve the strategy on team capability growth, engagement, business growth strategy
  • Support China engineering team routine operation, Support team operation cadence definition with leadership team, support team events organizing and execution
  • Assist China engineering leadership for daily management, tracking the annual strategic plan and operation plan created by leadership team.
  • Support FLIGHT DECK activation and promotion to improve team's FLIGHT DECK mindset and productivity & quality outcome.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Bachelor's degree or plus in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Finance, or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience in aviation industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to plan, execute and document programs with process orientation approach
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong teamwork skills or experience in a teaming environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
