National Sales Manager

Liverpool, Australia

Join our team in Chipping Norton as the National Sales Manager to own sales and marketing executing across our network of distributers in Australia and New Zealand and to work with each of them individually to drive sales and sellout programs as to see them meet their yearly sales targets. You will have one direct report and work with your ISC counterparts to ensure that a high level of customer service and product delivery are kept up to a high standard and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the sales target is met by working closely with the IAM distributors in developing their sales strategy and promotions.
  • Be the primary sales interface with the Independent Aftermarket Customers and in developing the Independent Aftermarket distribution strategy for their defined sales territory.
  • Provide market related demand information to the Global Director, Demand Planning and Forecast Department.
  • Agree annual customer targets, development programs and all other customer commercial interfaces.
  • Liaise with the ISC/Customer Support Team to manage the delivery of parts to customers
  • Ensure AOP, A/C receivables, Sales Forecast and Gross Margin targets are met
  • Support the Marketing team and General Manager with competition information to evaluate and develop the sales strategy for the independent turbocharger Aftermarket.
  • Manage, execute, and attend all National Performance shows throughout the year and manage PD and MD's attendance as required.
  • Manage and develop local sponsorship partnerships to showcase the Garrett Motion latest products.
  • Maintain and develop customer and market profiles to aid Garrett Motion in estimating and evaluating the market size, opportunity and performance of the independent distributors and other sales channels.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree with a business/commercial discipline
  • Min 15 years of business experience
  • Strong track record in development of indirect sales to a channel of dealers and distributors in ANZ
  • Channel experience preferred within automotive, aftermarket in ANZ
  • Developed and implemented Dealer Development strategy and action plan for multiple markets
  • Led the dealer network expansion plan through active prospection on the field, preparation of value proposition and market potential analysis.

The Garrett Customer Management organization is responsible for developing and driving positive relationships with customers at a local, and ultimately, global level. We are the focal point between our customers and the Garrett Motion organization for everything from earliest concept and new technology discussions, through winning new business and executing production launches to managing aftermarket through to end-of-product life.
