Intercompany Senior Accountant will support in managing accounting, consolidation and reconciliation of Intercompany accounts across all EMEA legal entities. He / she will be responsible for month-end closure, accounting, analysis and reporting in both US GAAP and Local GAAP, Audit & SOX compliance, as well as supporting tax compliance.

Responsibilities:
Operations - Intercompany
• Book EMEA ICO transactions centrally, while ensuring the proper account details such as GL, cost center, VAT code, debit/credit etc
• Perform monthly ICO GIT & suspense analysis taking into consideration various factors such as GRNI, transit time, disputes etc
• Ensure an accurate FR15 report to support with the booking of ICO inventory in transit
• Create and consolidate the month end ICP breakup & ageing while sticking with agreed deadline
• Prepare timely reports as per corporate closing calendar while ensure intercompany balances agree at month end and that all transactions are supported by appropriate documentation
• In collaboration with Treasury team drive accounting of ICO payments & netting
• Perform ICO reconciliation before / after month end
• Resolve all Out of Balances between entities before final HFM close
• Drive issue resolution of unreconciled intercompany balances with long term solutions in place for recurring issues
• Support for external and internal audits
• Collaborate with Tax team and Legal to ensure transfer pricing documentation is relevant and up to date
• Respond timely to inquiries or requests for information from other functional and non-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with intercompany policy
• Participate in the design and implementation of a centralized Intercompany process
• Support in the development and maintaining up to date standard operating process manuals and flow diagrams for the various intercompany sub-processes.
General Process
• Sustain the current system of controls, procedures, and forms deployed around intercompany accounting
• Review invoices for basic details required in order to make payments and ensure local VAT compliance
• Proactively engage in development and implementation of relevant processes to drive efficiency and improved internal controls.
• Develop and implement or assist in development and implementation of new and/or enhanced procedures and automation to drive continuous process improvement
• Support / execute any other activity as may be required by Intercompany Team Leader to support true and fair presentation of financial statements.
We need:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics / Accounting . Master Degree is a plus
• Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or ACCA) is a plus
• Desired experience 3-5years
• Proven experience in an Accountant role, Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, Senior Auditor etc
• Previous experience in accounting, intercompany activities, accounts receivable, accounts payable
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Relevant experience with SAP, Accounting, P2P and C2C modules
• Advanced MS Excel skills are mandatory. This can include Vlookups, pivot tables, charts etc
• Fluent in English
