As our Technical Expert & Architect - Cyber Security you will be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex cyber security solutions within Garrett Advancing Motion. Your main responsibilities will be:
• Analyze current and future automotive embedded systems and recommend automotive cyber security trends and emerging technologies
• Support the Cyber Security Engineering and Marketing organization to define security requirements, lead in performing security risk assessments
• Define high level solution architecture for all standalone and end to end Cyber solution for the business
• Help define and drive the technical requirements for improvements for products already developed in house
• Interact with customers and represent the company in different Industry events, meetings with Regulators, Cyber Security associations
• Drive the architecture principles into Cyber while driving the synergy between other products within Connected Vehicles namely Integrated Vehicle Health Management, Controls and Connected software platforms
• Lead and conduct architecture and design review forums for the development team and apply systems engineering principles
• Participate in early engagements with the sales to identify, qualify and pre-shape sales opportunities
• Work closely with the sales team to present at client meetings and handle all technical aspects of any propositions
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical/embedded/network communication design & development
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in development of solutions related to automotive cyber security
• Experience in developing requirements following systems engineering principles and utilizing relevant requirements management tools
• Exposure to CAN and other networking protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, FTP
• Experience in automotive networks and different service tool architectures
• Experience in data analysis methods and delivered solutions involving
• Experience in working directly working with customers at various levels for new product concept generation and development
• Experience with software engineering tools, processes and principles
WE VALUE
• Experience in modern automotive electrical and communication network protocols
• Exposure to AUTOSAR, Automotive Cyber Security and Safety standards and its impact on software development
• Background with automotive embedded systems, cyber security architectures for auto or IoT, familiar with micro-controllers and auto devices: TCU, Gateway, IVI, Dashboards and other ECUs
• Experience with cryptography algorithms and secure algorithms and solution
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical communication
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work collaboratively
• High technical and analytical capabilities
• Experience with security system and risk analysis
• Must have strong presentation and communication skills, ability to communicate well is a critical requirement for this position, must be able to communicate effectively and clearly technical approaches, value proposition and findings
• Experience with software life cycle management methodologies
