We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sustainability & Compliance Specialist to join our Delhi office. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, as well as expertise in supplier compliance and apparel sourcing.
What You'll Do
- Cross-check and validate information across various documents to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Utilize Excel tools (including pivot tables) to manage large data sets efficiently and generate reports; regularly update & maintain the report in a timely manner
- Engage with suppliers through email to address compliance issues, discrepancies, and any additional requirements.
- Ensure clear, precise, and professional communication with external stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Proactively raise issues and provide practical solutions to the team lead.
- Collaborate with internal teams to track progress and ensure all compliance checks are completed within set timelines.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, particularly in managing data sets and creating reports using pivot tables and other advanced features.
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with external stakeholders, particularly suppliers, to resolve compliance issues.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing efficiency improvements and quick solutions to compliance-related challenges.
- Solid understanding of the apparel sourcing process, including industry best practices.
- Familiarity with supplier compliance requirements and regulations within the apparel industry.
- Experience managing compliance in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
