ROLE PURPOSE
The Marketing Manager, Trade Activations will be responsible for facilitating supply chain activities and tracking end-to-end launches for Pop Vinyl, Bitty Pop, Loungefly and Softlines into the retail environment across Funko EMEA. They will ensure supply; customer fulfilment and key milestones are met by working with stakeholders within the business & managing the critical path for each launch and project.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Retail Co-ordination
- Work closely with the Marketing team and Sales team to deliver against strategic growth categories, new product launches and drive sales with key retail partners through the creation and implementation of a strategic 12-month plan and calendar.
- Own, maintain and manage the critical path for trade marketing initiatives such as assortments/POS/CDU's/clipstrip programs and FSDU launches, from initiation to delivery into customer.
- Use weekly forums to align and collaborate with key stakeholders across departments, including Marketing, Product Development, Sales, Operations, Logistics, Planning, Third Party Suppliers.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing to ensure brand consistency is delivered across all activations / associated materials.
- Lead briefs to the design team for trade initiatives and ensure licensor approvals are met in a timely fashion.
- Manage each initiative (including retailer moments & new product launches) through a critical path working with cross functional teams to ensure product and materials arrive on time into the DC and launches successfully.
- Communicate out issues, priorities, and project statuses to varying level of team member on a frequent basis, putting forward solutions and problem solving where needed.
- Collate required demand within Planning lead times and monitor demand continuously.
- Analysis of retail activations before and after campaigns, providing recommendations to the business to enhance the offering and highlighting how they have contributed to sales growth and achieved sales targets.

- Collating required information from multiple sources (customer manuals, PO’s, project briefs, customer FSDU specs
- Solution focused - Identify any hurdles and find a solution to keep the project on track
- Ensuring stock timelines are met
- Liaising with the third-party suppliers to align with scheduled work plans
- Assess and flag risk of launches with key stakeholders
- Identify and create different workflow streams for retail activations
- Suggest and implement process changes in line with evolving business needs
- Manage the cost analysis to ensure strong ROI for the business
- Creation of multiple tracking documents

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Proven project management skills and experience – ideally with an ability to think both rapidly and ‘outside the box’.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Customer service, engagement and communication skills (written and oral).
- Proactive self-starter, with the ability to juggle many projects using a commercial mindset.
- Positive, can-do attitude and excellent collaboration skills – able to demonstrate a ‘team player’ ethic.
- Able to work with large datasets and generate actionable output with good Excel skills.
