The Senior Director of Finance will lead the annual planning and budgeting process, and corporate reporting, and provide strategic and analytical support to the key stakeholders.
Reporting to the Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Director of Finance will:
- Drive corporate financial planning cycle including annual planning, quarterly Outlook, and month financial forecast
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial close process, including variance analysis
- Partner with key stakeholders to drive predictability across all financial and operational metrics
- Lead corporate reporting including weekly dashboards, monthly and quarterly reporting, and Board presentations
- Partner with Investor Relations on quarterly earnings
- Partner with corporate strategy and business functions to build long-term financial model and rolling forecast
- Lead ad hoc strategic analysis across the company
- Partner with G&A functions to drive financial planning and decision support for the G&A organization.
- Drive corporate processes and initiatives across the company, including data consistency and process improvement
- Drive data-driven decision support to the organization by compiling inputs and underlying assumptions, coupled with knowledge and expertise in business areas.
- Liaise and collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional leaders to obtain assumptions, identify key metrics, assess impacts, and run sensitivity/scenario analysis.
- Build scalable processes and systems to provide transparency and efficiency across the organization
- Prepare presentations targeted at senior management and the Board of Directors
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the finance team
This is a hybrid role (3 days/week onsite) from either San Mateo, CA (HQ) or our Bellevue, WA location.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics; Master's degree in Finance or Economics preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis roles, with similar FP&A leadership experience
- Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts required
- Experience in Technology (SaaS) industries preferred
- Excellent business communication skills
- Strong attention to detail; working in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner
- Solid analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders
- Experience with financial systems and corporate planning tools
- Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
Additional Information
California Pay Range: $264,000 - 350,000+ comprising an annual salary & incentive compensation: You may also be eligible for equity and additional generous company benefits.
