Position Overview:

Our rapidly evolving IT Network department is in search of a Network Wireless Engineering Technical Lead with excellent time management skills and a proven track record of setting and meeting results-oriented goals! We're looking for a candidate with considerable WiFi, NAC (Network Access Control), and Cellular 4/5G experience in large environments who can lead upgrade projects, handle workloads in a fast-paced environment and proactively ensure best practices are crafted and executed for our National Enterprise offices throughout the country!

Your Impact:

  • Provide technical leadership in the Wireless Network area and to think and execute proactively to ensure the scalability, stability and security of the platform
  • Identify, Influence and Implement technology and processes to modernize our Wireless Infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Network leadership to assure visible communication, risk reduction and accountability for the performance and stability of the Wireless network platforms

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience of Network Engineering
  • College Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead level Wireless Network Engineer
  • 8+ years in a senior level engineering role engaged with IP network technologies including LAN switching, BGP/OSPF routing, VPLS/MPLS, Quality of Service, traffic engineering, server load balancing and network-security design and delivery for large scale multi-site data center environments.
  • Provide technical guidance, strong hands-on skills, develop design documents, perform product installation, upgrades and certification, implementation plan, deployment and troubleshooting support.
  • Partner with Architecture, Information Security and Business areas to define technical solutions to complex business issues that align with target state architecture and conforms to corporate best practices
  • 5 years of experience with wireless telemetry/AI Platforms such as:

      • Aruba - Controller, Airwave, Central
      • Cisco WLC, DNACenter/Catalyst Center
      • Juniper Mist - Marvis Minis
    • Must have a solid sense of accountability for performance and continued improvement of execution
    • Communicates well within the team to effectively relay status and accomplishments to management
    • Must not only lead current technical trends, but also anticipate our future state technologies
    • An eye for automating common processes
    • Experience with 4G and 5G cellular services a plus

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $131,000 - $197,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
