Position Overview:

The Business Engineering (BE) group, within the Investments and Capital Markets Business Technology Office (I&CM BTO), is responsible for delivering technology solutions that support the entire I&CM division. BE works closely with our customers in the Front and Back Office to develop solutions that enhance and streamline business processes, while reducing risk. The BE Trading Analytics Model Development Director, in conjunction with the Payments program, is seeking a Senior Developer to work with team members and business partners to design, develop, and implement a best-in-class payments platform.]

Your Impact:

As a Senior Developer, responsibilities include:

• Engage business users to define the requirements and design for a new, best-in-class, payments platform.

• Application development, prototyping, and high-level technical consulting.

• Work closely with team members and business partners to develop cutting edge technology solutions under tight deadlines.
• Predict effects of configuration changes; identify application bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performance.

• Support issue resolution and completion of ad-hoc requests in support of business partners within the I&CM division.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of IT experience in design, development, integration and testing of software solutions based on J2EE technologies in an agile environment.

• 5-7 years of experience with relational databases including Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2.

• 3-5 years of experience developing RESTful web services using Spring Boot.

• 2-3 years of experience developing front-end GUIs using Angular 2 or higher.

• 2-3 years of experience with managing, building, and deploying code through tools including Eclipse, GIT, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins.

• 2-3 years of experience designing and executing JUnit test cases using Mockito framework based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $118,000 - $178,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
