Position Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to help direct the evolution, scale, and maturity of Freddie Mac's Multifamily emerging digital release, business integration, and deployment practices. The Strategic Transformation Professional will work collaboratively with Product, IT, and business teams to assist in the deployment and operation of our systems; as well as help automate and streamline our systems. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success building modern, clear, and repeatable processes that drive predictability and frequency.

This role will have a particular focus in customer testing and release readiness, business architecture, and special projects to support Multifamily Technology leadership.

Our Impact:

You will be working as part of the Program Enablement team within Multifamily Technology. Our team supports digital product teams while driving the overall vision of the program and is primarily responsible for:

  • Business Architecture
  • Customer Testing & Experience
  • Operational Readiness
  • Product Adoption
  • Reporting & Change Management
  • Special Projects

Your Impact:

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders across the Multifamily organization to assist in the testing of our new digital capabilities, specifically in process redesign, legacy application integration and retirement, and product release readiness
  • Capture testing feedback and translate to new business requirements for Product teams.
  • Conduct in person and virtual trainings for internal and external business users on new software.
  • Partner with Product Adoption and Business leadership to develop product rollout plans and training materials.
  • Conduct discovery work efforts to define future state visions across Multifamily division
  • Assist with monthly or quarterly leadership reporting of technology roadmap progress across Multifamily division.
  • Work with technology and business stakeholders to document current and future state end-user business process flows.
  • Create capability models and functional decompositions for legacy and digital systems

Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent
  • Typically has 2-3+ years related experience
  • Strong business judgement and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate business features
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audience
  • Must present strong organization skills and pay close attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills; ability to operate independently with minimal guidance
  • Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output in a team environment
  • Experience in the primary or secondary mortgage market highly desirable
  • Availability for occasional work beyond core business hours or weekends as needed
  • Experience using project management software such as Jira or Confluence
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, Visio)

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $85,000 - $127,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
