Position Overview:

Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing! The Multifamily Production Team is seeking a new team member (MF Production Professional level) to work with the team in McLean, VA and help quote and process Structured Facilities transactions.

The person will join the Structured Facilities Team ("Facilities") which is responsible for sourcing and closing complex debt financings for all Multifamily collateral types (Conventional and Affordable). The Professional will be an external/customer-facing position to help the team with the sourcing, origination, analysis, and successful closing of our structured finance deals.

Responsibilities will also include working with internal team members to get deals approved and process along with ensuring accuracy of deal-level data across internal systems. etc. The Production Professional team member may also be asked to complete ad-hoc analyses and summaries of deals for senior management, to follow-up on questions and inquiries, and to assist in preparing marketing or product materials. Our Impact:

  • The Facilities team is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing large, complex debt financing solutions.
  • A central theme across all our Facilities deals is an underlying mission to provide a source of liquidity, stability, and affordability.
  • The Facilities team specializes in thinking creatively to meet customers' debt financing needs.
  • The candidate will also help the division achieve our FHFA housing goals.
  • Work cooperatively with the Structured Underwriting, Capital Markets, Legal, and Asset Management groups by taking a leading role for the Facilities deals to ensure clear communication and a seamless execution.

Your Impact:

  • The Production Professional works directly with the Facilities team managers to support and drive deals to a successful close.
  • You will have frequent contact with individuals representing other departments and representing outside organizations.
  • You will be exposed to all aspects of the multifamily lending and securitization process.
  • You will think creatively to help identify and drive improvements for deal processes, reporting, and analysis.
  • You will take responsibility for deals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, Economics, or related field preferred
  • Multifamily loan experience is required
  • 2- 4 years experience
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Understanding and familiarity with property level underwriting including NOI, DCR, and other sizing metrics

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $114,000 - $170,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
