The team is a centralized organization that manages the Operational Resiliency Risk program for both the SF Portfolio & Servicing and SF Acquisitions divisions. Our mission is to drive the adoption of and ensure compliance with regulatory, enterprise policy / standards, and framework requirements to support safeguarding both divisions' preparedness to respond to disruptions of critical business processes.

The Operational Risk Manager will have direct exposure to the SF Business process leadership and teams, with an opportunity to learn about business processes, critical personnel, third-party, and technology that support Freddie Mac's Single-Family Business. The Operational Risk Manager will report directly to the Senior Operational Resiliency Risk Manager.

Our Impact:
- Partner with various enterprise risk, divisional risk, and business teams to drive alignment on regulatory and enterprise requirements, solutions for program maturity / efficiencies, and assess divisional risk profile rating
- Establish efficient standardized end-to-end execution approaches in alignment with enterprise risk methods
- Lead business partners in achieving consistent Operational Resiliency compliance
- Manage challenges from regulatory and enterprise risk entities to defend the divisional state of resiliency
Your Impact:
Develop and cultivate strong relationships with SF business partners and enterprise risk teams to facilitate and manage the following:
- Collaborate with various enterprise risk entities to align on regulatory and enterprise risk program requirements
- Foster a risk aware culture by enhancing SF business partners' understanding of Business Resiliency concepts, compliance requirements, and strategic connections
- Proactively stay abreast of regulatory and enterprise requirement changes to assess program impacts
- Conduct Process Criticality Assessments and support ARIS Process Modeling Exercises
- Conduct Business Impact Assessments, develop Business Continuity Plans, plan & execute Business Continuity Tests, and conduct Inherent & Residual Operational Resiliency Risk Assessments
- Conduct policy / standard gap assessments and satisfy regulatory and enterprise risk entities' challenges
- Identify program maturity and efficiency improvement recommendations and drive to solution
- Support Operational Resiliency program planning, projects, analytics, and reporting
- Cross-train and mentor team members
- Support the SF Crisis / Incident Mgmt. Team to manage disruptions and close action items as needed
- Support SF-OR Third-Party Seller / Servicer Business Resiliency Risk Reviews and Guide changes as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
- In-depth understanding of operational risk and business continuity management principles at large financial services institutions, including regulatory expectations, and industry standards
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational, problem solving, communications (written & verbal), risk management, leadership, and relationship management skills
- Ability to influence key partners in an open, collaborative environment
- Strong ability to understand the tactical requirements' connection to the strategic value
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to change, and quickly pivot to continue to deliver quality results
- Industry Business Continuity Certification preferred

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $126,000 - $190,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
