Please note this is a Hybrid only role working Tuesday's & Wednesday's from our Austin office

Essential Functions

  • Provide professional leadership, focusing on monitoring activity, the highest levels of performance and customer satisfaction
  • Coach and mentor the team ensuring their on-going development
  • Be commercially aware of key industry developments and market trends
  • Act as a key contributor within the US Sales Management Team
  • Act as an escalation point for Forcepoint customers and accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls from / to end users and reseller partners to maintain customer satisfaction and progress sales opportunities
  • Use a consultative approach to educate end users and reseller partners, provide timely follow-up, closure and tracking of all identified opportunities
  • Provide weekly business pipeline reports / forecasts for all business developed and closed by your team to the Sr. Director - Americas, Renewals
  • Interface with end users and reseller partners on a daily basis via telephone and email to provide assistance and support the closure of revenue opportunities
  • Help in the planning and implementation of vertical and focused sales campaigns, ensuring effective and timely performance, work closely with the Forcepoint US Channel and Marketing teams
  • Work closely with sales operations/administration
  • Act as first point of escalation for existing business
  • Efficiently engage with sales resources, SE, Channel, Solutions Sales Specialists and Executives as required.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Education and Experience

  • University degree is highly desirable however equivalent professional experience will also be accepted
  • Extensive proven IT sales experience
  • Comprehensive experience of related management or supervisory experience in a high tech company
  • Proven track record in motivating and appraising staff and building and retaining teams
  • A successful track record in delivering to defined revenue / margin targets
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies such as Solution Selling, SPIN, etc.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and telephone skills are essential as well as skill in selling, time management and organization
  • Ability to close business while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction
  • A proven track record in coaching and mentoring
  • A self-starter and proactive leader willing to display initiative with common sense
  • Results driven and committed to 'outcomes rather than output'
  • Team focused, with the ability to gain the personal support of others
  • Capable of developing empathy and rapport internally with staff and with customers and partners
  • Strong work-ethic and committed to quality and customer service
  • Disciplined, organized and methodical in approach to tasks and activities
  • Committed to the success of customers and colleagues
