Forcepoint is looking for a Junior Engineer to support the testing, validation, and specification of x86 appliances. You will collaborate with the team to define, test, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware related issues. You will frequently collaborate with other departments, ODM partners and external agencies to ensure products meet required certifications and standards.

You will:
- Assist in the specification and testing of x86 appliances, focusing on hardware, software, and firmware validation.
- Support homologation and certification processes for WiFi, LTE, and 5G products in various regions.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware issues and contribute to their resolution.
- Help collect data on product returns and create detailed reports.
Experience and knowledge we are looking for:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with x86 architecture, LAN technologies, and networking.
- Basic understanding of electronics.
- Experience with Linux and other operating systems.
- Ability to solve technical issues with strong analytical skills.
- Enthusiastic, self-driven, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Additional skills for the job:
- Experience or interest in x86-based hardware and embedded systems.
- A proactive attitude toward troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Previous project experience or internships in a relevant technical field is a plus.
- Interest or knowledge of Linux scripting languages is an advantage
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based, with occasional flexibility to work from home.
