Job Summary

The Sr Director, Engineering -Vehicle Compute will be based in Farmington Hills, Mi, reporting to VP, Design, Process and Technology Engineering. The Sr Director, Engineering -Vehicle Compute will be in charge of working with Engineering Leaders, Manufacturing Operations Management, Product Managers and other Engineering and Operational functional leaders, to lead several Design & Engineering teams involved in the design, validation and implementation of innovative and cost-effective product solutions of varying scope

What a typical day looks like:

• Direct and control the activities of broad functional area through several senior Design & Engineering managers involved in activities such as designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and systems

• Partner with other leaders to establish objectives and action plans

• Ensure the development of Design & Engineering solutions for diversified industry segment covering a wide range of products and volume mixes

• Ensure budget, schedules and performance indicators meet corporate guidelines

• Provide technical and strategic guidance to subordinate directors to ensure achievement of goals and objectives

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience on Engineering and Design on Automotive field

• Minimum of 8 years Managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.

• Experienced with statistical systems and platforms.
