This position is based in our Shah Alam Regional Office in Selangor, Malaysia.

Responsible to establish the talent acquisition strategy for the teams in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia and India, and implement it across multiple sites in the mentioned Asia region.

Principle Accountabilities:

Duties performed in this role vary depending on the business unit, location or product being manufactured. Following is a list of possible duties (non-exhaustive list):
  • Country staffing needs and stakeholders management
  • Talent management, metrics accuracy
  • Business success and ensure governmental requirements meet staffing needs
  • Develops and implements recruiting plans to staff open requisitions while minimizing cost per hire
  • Manages contractual relationships with placement agencies, contract recruiters, retained and contingent, job boards, job fairs for posting requisitions
  • Ensures consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns and events
  • May serve as or oversee website content expert for Staffing & Recruitment
  • May maintain manpower planning system and guide management on employment matters and/or affirmative action plans, as applicable
  • Submits reports concerning hiring trends, turnover rates, candidate feedback, etc. to Human Resources staff and/or senior management, as appropriate
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Requirements:
  • A minumum of 13 years of professional management/direction experience, specialized in talent acquisition, m anufacturing exposure is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory, and master degree is highly desirable
  • Regional experience and exposure in sourcing channels, demographic trends, staffing strategies, negotiation skills and project management
  • Experience in Employer Branding capacity is highly desirable
  • Decision-making, business acumen and provides strategic leadership for the function and the sites
