To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Manager (Rework) located in Guadalajara, North Site .

The Process Engineering Manager (Rework) role involves responsable de gestionar un equipo de ingenieros de procesos que trabajan en la mejora de las capacidades de ingeniería de procesos para respaldar un área específica de una organización de fabricación.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
  • Establish and improve process capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
  • Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
  • Improve throughput in constrained areas.
  • Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
  • Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
  • Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering in electronics, mechatronics or related.
  • Strong experience in the electronic manufacturing industry as a Process Engineer.
  • Advanced English (spoken and written)
  • Strong in rework processes of critical components in highly complex (BGA) electronic cards. - Large ASICs (+85mm)
  • Qualification of rework processes
  • Profiling processes on Sierra machine (SRT)/air vac"
  • Communication with clients
  • Leadership
  • Communication with the different functional areas
  • Excel Intermediate-Advanced.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Visa and valid passport is preferred.
  • Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people skills. Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business. Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
