To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, South Site .
The Process Engineering Manager role involves responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
- Establish and improve process capabilities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
- Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Improve throughput in constrained areas.
- Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
- Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
- Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering, mechatronics or related
- Strong experience in Process Engineering
- Acknowledge of automotive standards (IATF, PPAP, Core tools, APQP)
- Solid knowledge in SMT
- Experience in secondary processes (Wave soldering and conformal processes)
- Leadership
- Personnel administration
- PLC Programming knowledge.
- Strong risk mitigation strategies knowledge.
- Control tools knowledge, such as: statistical process control (SPC)
- NPI experience
- Advanced English.
- MS Office (Excel, PP).
- Experience in High Volume & Low Volume
- Core Tools

- Detail-oriented
- Teamwork
- Green Belt/Black Belt certification is required.
