Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add an Process Engineering Intern located in our Austin, TX site.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Position concentrates on Fluid Dispensing technologies, Dispense Machines and various ruggedization chemicals
- Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements and materials
- Assist with the analysis of statistical process analysis on new and existing products and improvement of manufacturing safety, productivity and yield improvements
- Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities
- Develop and maintain process documentation
- Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer
- Make recommendation on cost improvement and reduction programs
- Jr/Sr student pursuing Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering; related majors are also considered
- Highly collaborative, creative, and excellent communication skills
- Previous internship experience, a plus!
- Available to start on May 27th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for a 10-12 week Summer
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
