Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Material Planning Analyst located in Austin TX

Reporting to the Material Planning Manager. The Material Planning Analyst will support customers producing hardware for advanced processes. This role involves MRP understanding, internal and external communication, Demand Management, production, and capacity understanding.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Conduct CTB analysis and provide materials to CFT.
  • Follow up on shortages with Purchasing, Quality, and Customers.
  • Manage demand through SIOP, demand profiling, inventory projections, and key performance indicators.
  • Review and approve ECOs, including BOM scrubs and material assessments for liabilities.
  • Utilize MSS functionality as needed.
  • Notify CFT for inventory clean-up due to disposition.
  • Perform Can-Do simulations in Kinaxis upon customer request.
  • Monitor urgent material receipts and shipments.
  • Analyze and report on inventory liabilities (MRB, E&O, aging receipts, old WIP).
  • Manage work order aging and proactively escalate ECO-related issues.
  • Audit data for integrity and suggest process improvements.
  • Collaborate with program management to optimize customer demand fulfillment.
  • Track planning parameters in BaaN for efficient demand and production planning.
  • Assist in data auditing and prepare summary reports and visuals.
  • Update content lists and item master.
  • Manage customer consigned inventory.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in materials or related field.
  • Material Planning for High-speed/High-volume
  • High level Excel knowledge
  • Strong BAAN and MRP knowledge
  • Strong Communication and cross function interactions
  • Background in electronics manufacturing is preferred
