Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Head of Business Development GSS America.

Reporting to the Head of Sales GSS, the Head of Business Development GSS America oversees qualifying new customers, developing relationship and business with them, achieving pipeline and bookings results according to assigned unipersonal and team targets, as well as leading a team composed Business Development across the Americas Region.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Driving new business wins focusing on the entire GSS value proposition, in specific value-added fulfillment and reverse/Circular Economy services directly and through the own team.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, solution architects and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Research and recognize customers' business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities and align Flex resources were mutually beneficial.
  • Will regularly interact with executives and major clients. Interactions normally will involve influencing and/or persuading customers and negotiations.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce while ensuring the comprehension of cultural nuances and diversity representations
  • This role should possess demonstrated positive human relations and business skills that are effective at all levels of the organization on top of a proven network and solid reputation in the value-added fulfillment and reverse/Circular Economy services. Sustainability/Recycling field
  • Represent Flex Ways of Working when interacting with internal & external contacts.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • 10+ years of experience in Business Development related to value add services industry within EMS.
  • Demonstrated track record of years of progressively advancing business development experience in a service supply chain / aftermarket role
  • Experience managing a sales team in a matrixed org.
  • Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers to maximize mutual benefit.
  • Experience in the EMS / CMO / engineering business environment.
  • Knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques, Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers' needs and company targets
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses relationship skills.

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote). Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate
