To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Operations Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus .
Reporting to the VP, Operations, Operations Manager role involves responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.
What a typical day looks like:
- Focused on improving PLN results.
- Maximizing Labor Efficiency.
- Working with Engineering for overall process improvement.
- Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
- Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
- Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
- Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
- Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
- Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
- Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
- Coach and mentor Operations team.
- Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
- Bachelor's degree
- Advance English
- Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.
- Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas and industry.
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
- Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
- Must have a good knowledge of employment law and company practices, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or styles.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
