To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Engineering Director Power Electronics (m/f/d), located in Stuttgart, Germany .
Reporting to the VP Power Electronics, the Engineering Director Power Electronics will be responsible for the development and Job 1 launch of customized products to support Flex's xEV power electronics business.
What a typical day looks like:
- Implement strategies to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce
- Establish product development process according to ASPICE
- Prepare roadmap, market research, and customer information
- Engage customers as a technical expert at Flex
- Creation of the customer presentation and documentation
- Meet regularly with engineering peers at Flex's customers
- Work with cross-functional technical teams
- Collect market trends for vehicle electrification systems
- Participate as speaker or visitor in electromobility trade fairs, congresses, exhibitions, and other events about e-mobility
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years in similar position
- Knowledge of simulation tools software such as Matlab, Simulink and LTspice
- ISO26262
- Fluent English knowledge both in written and spoken form
- Ability to Travel is required
