Flex Power Modules, a business line of Flex, is a leading design and solution provider of scalable DC/DC power converters primarily serving the data processing, communications, industrial and transportation markets. We are hiring a (Senior) Electronic Hardware Enginee r for DC/DC product development. In charge of developing new products, redesign existing products, and perform research and testing on product concepts.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Work in product development project together with a project manager, electronic design engineers, mechanic- and simulation engineers
  • Performing electronic design, evaluation & verification of our products
  • Thermal-magnetic design
  • Holding up the pre-development according to technology and product roadmap
  • Contributing with colleagues from the engineering department on product feasibility
  • Redesigning existing products to enhance functionality or reduce costs
  • Research, development, testing and deployment efficiently and effectively
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelors academic degree in electrical engineering - or similar
  • Work experience in a related field is a plus
  • Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
  • Knowledge in thermal- & magnetic design is meritious
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
