Siemens EDA is now looking for a dynamic Customer Support Engineer to provide professional support to both our external and internal customers using our PCB Design Flow software applications. Serving as a key member of an award-winning Electronic Design Automation technical support team you will be committed to providing excellent support to customers, field personnel and team members using Siemens EDA PCB design software. You will also possess the willingness and ability to travel for work as required.

Your key responsibilities would include:
- Collaboration with other support engineers as well as creating and promoting innovative methods to help customers adopt new technology.
- Solving complex design issues, part of multiple projects you may work on at any one time.
- Creation of well written knowledge base articles that enable customers to self-solve issues whilst you will endeavor to continually expand technical knowledge of PCB flow applications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- BSEE or equivalent, with significant Electronics expertise, combined with proven experience in the PCB design process from schematic entry to layout/manufacturing (this can be academic experience)
- Ideally some experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition Enterprise flow applications. Competitor application experience would also be suitable.
- Knowledge of Virtual Basic Scripting desirable.
- Very good command of, and proficiency in spoken and written English combined with a strong customer service approach.
- Ideally, this role will be based out of our Milan office but we can support candidates in any Northern Italian city remotely
