Job Summary

The Director, Business Development will be based in Austin Tx andreporting to Sr Director of Business Development. In this role, you will be i n-charge of qualifying new customers, developing relationship and business with them, achieving pipeline and bookings results according to assigned unipersonal and team targets pertaining to our Enterprise business.

What a typical day looks like
  • Develop new strategic alliances within the Communication, Enterprise, and Cloud Space with a focus on building strategic relationships at all levels of the Customer's organization
  • Analyze and understand your customers business strategy, technology roadmap, future product plans and expansion activities; and align Flex resources to successfully differentiate Flex to close new business opportunities.
  • Align with customers on key technology, innovation, and supply chain initiatives to create unique value propositions with both Flex EMS and vertical integration, including design, engineering, mechanicals, optical, plastics, power, Infinex, and Global Supply Services.
  • Assist current accounts in the development and execution of product roadmaps and act as a focal point in delivering Flex's solutions.
  • Research and recognize customers' business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities and align Flex resources were mutually beneficial.
The experience we are looking to add to our team
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, finance, or business management
  • Typically requires 8+ years of progressively advancing account management and/or business development experience.
  • Experience working with Enterprise, Server or Cloud customers.
  • Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers to maximize mutual benefit.
  • Experience in the EMS / CMO / engineering business environment.
  • Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers' needs and Flex targets.
  • Ability to successfully influence senior level management, executives, and key clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
