Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Analyst, ERP Applications located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Reporting to the ERP Managaer the Analyst, ERP Applications will responsible f of providing technical administrative and implementations hold up for one or more applications. Ensuring ITIL practices are followed diligently at all times. Always align the IT services provided with the needs of the Business. While the primary focus is on the stability of the systems, architecting, design, installation and setup of the application/s are other core controls for this role.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Define, design, implement and hold up infrastructure & application solutions.
  • Interpret functional specification and convert it into a technical specification.
  • Time estimation based on development specifications for developments to be done using Baan Tools.
  • Develop new components, customize existing components in LN and Baan5 development environment using LN/Baan Tools, based on technical specifications.
  • Testing of customizations/new developments as per user requirement.
  • Create patches/dumps/PMCs on LN and Baan5.
  • Installation of dumps/patches/PMCs on LN/Baan5 servers.
  • Investigation of existing components and optimize existing *components for performance.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging errors arising out of LN/Baan application.
  • Development and testing according Documentation.
  • Work with requestors to advise on how to configure the system to implement solutions.
  • Prepare Standard Operating procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of the applications and underlying systems.
  • Ensure adequate monitoring and controls are in place to ensure stability of the solutions.
  • Establish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms are in place with customers, peers and cross functional teams.
  • Adherence to Service level acceptance accord with the Business. Ensure timely reviews with stakeholders.
  • Ensure minimum 'MTTR (Mean time to Repair)' while fixing problems. Follow-up with proper root cause investigation, corrective & preventive actions with an aim to increase 'MTBF (Mean time between failures)'.
  • Ensure compliance of the systems w.r.t security and SOX requirements.
  • Propose system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
  • Review goals to define success of operation, involved developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations(s) and may also have company-wide effect.
  • Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
  • Monitor, documentation and following up of incidents, problem, change tickets, contact users for having real metrics numbers.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires some experience and proven knowledge of 3-5 years of IT related experience
  • Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.
  • Demonstrates advanced/ thorough knowledge of the function and Flex business.
