RTX has an opening for an ERP Business Analyst - Record to Report (Manager, Business Systems and Transformation).
Are you interested in playing a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defense? If so, we are hiring an ERP Business Analyst - Record to Report (R2R) to help drive our oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation program.
The OneRTX Process & Systems Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAP's S/4HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.
The ERP Business Analyst - Record to Report (R2R) is responsible for successful delivery within each phase of the program:
- Blueprint - detailed design for processes, utilizing best practices and maximizing process harmonization opportunities; evaluation of gaps and making scope decisions.
- Build - collaborate with an integrated team of external resources and internal RTX team members in the configuration and development of system capabilities.
- Testing - support the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts; work alongside business leaders and testers to ensure proper functionality and defect resolution.
- Cutover & Hypercare - support successful migration from legacy systems to new environments. Support go-live and the continuation of RTX business' financial and operational performance.
You are the ideal candidate if you have experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, ideally ERP implementation using SAP's S/4HANA solution.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leveraging S/4HANA, enhancing our workstream processes in alignment desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.
- Support creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.
- Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices.
- Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.
- Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.
- Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope of the workstream as part of program.
- Travel up to 25-50%
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically a minimum of 8+ years' in financial and SAP arenas and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 5+ years' related work experience.
- 5+ years' Finance Acumen: Strong understanding of finance processes including but not limited to: Finance Master Data, Allocations, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Intercompany, G/L, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Period Close & Consolidation, Costing, Project Accounting, Revenue Recognition
- 5+ years' experience supporting treasury processes and tools, including bank account management, contingent liabilities, foreign exchange, and cash management.
- 5+ years' experience in SAP configuration and implementation in the following FI/CO modules - general ledger, treasury, banking, asset accounting and enterprise structures.
- Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
- Program Management: Ability to plan, manage & deliver across numerous bodies of work helping to translate business needs into system requirements and process improvements.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities.
- Experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects -- or similarly regulated, large organization
- Experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects
- Curiosity and Innovation: create a culture of innovation and strive to adopt solutions which allow RTX to grow and utilize new technologies.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify system issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapting to changing business needs and priorities.
- Compliance Mindset: Familiarity with financial regulations, controls, and security measures. Experience implementing and maintaining compliance standards within an ERP system.
- Ability to Travel 25-50%
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
