We're looking for a Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Coordinator to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?
What You'll Do
- Daily operations and management of Supplier Intake-to-Procure system and process. Partner with the corporate application team to solve for user requirements and system enhancements. Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day procurement or supplier related questions, issue resolution, etc.
- Oversee procurement workflows, coordinate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Security, Finance) to ensure appropriate reviews and approvals are obtained prior to contract execution
- Conduct sourcing activities including consolidate business/stakeholder requirements, independently gather, and analyze market/financial data from internal and external sources, identify new/alternate suppliers, lead RFx events, develop and execute complex negotiation strategies, conduct contract negotiations, collaborate with stakeholders on program/service implementation
- Oversee supplier contracts; Coordinate contract signatures, distribute and file fully executed documents into systems of record upon completion, and maintain a library of contract templates
- Oversee travel and corporate card programs
- Oversee Flatiron-wide Supplier Manager program and equip designated Supplier Managers to conduct independent sourcing activities; Collaborate with Supplier Managers to maximize the value derived from strategic supplier relationships and identify opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, demand management, process improvements, and vendor rationalization
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers and across all levels in the organization
- Other responsibilities include ad hoc reporting, analytics, savings tracking, special projects and systems enhancements as assigned

Who You Are
You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who values the opportunity to think beyond the way things are. In addition, you're a resourceful problem solver with 1-4 years of experience in a Procurement, Strategic Sourcing and/or Category Management function within a fast-paced environment.
- You are comfortable with and excited to lead and teach a cohort of decentralized and global Supplier Managers
- You are able to manage a high volume of projects and requests and can independently meet deadlines
- You understand sourcing and supplier management concepts and negotiation techniques including commercial and legal discussions and negotiations
- You have excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills
- You are excited about building and maintaining effective working relationships
- You are adaptable and have a desire to learn and develop your skill set to take on more responsibility
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, relevant certification, or commensurate experience
Extra credit
- You have experience with Tropic and/or Intake-to-Procure platforms
- You have experience with Coupa and/or Procure-to-Pay platforms
- You are interested in pursuing a CPSM, or similar Procurement, Sourcing or Project Management certification
