Overview
The Opportunity:
This Project Manager works in the office and has experience working within financial services as a Project Manager specifically for the Information Technology Department. The IT Project Manager assists in the analysis, process, design, and implementation of all IT centered projects. Projects include changes and enhancements to current procedures and process design and implementation to accommodate new needs within the Information Technology Framework. The IT Project Manager communicates risks to clients and IT management, sponsors and vendors and develops and executes mitigation strategies. The PM will report to the AVP of Corporate Services Technology.

- Have solid technical knowledge to understand the technical component of current systems be able to apply methodological solutions to new processes for the Information Technology Department
- Responsible for monitoring, aggregating, and communicating project status to IT management, sponsors, and vendors
- Assume responsibility for overseeing the process design aspect of projects to accommodate the needs of the department, including the presentation of possible solutions to senior management
- Work with specific personnel in the IT group to understand possible solutions and to manage the implementation
- Manage a project from needs identification, through process design, to implementation
- Develop project communication policy and procedures
- Communicate project information to all IT managers, project team members, sponsors, and vendors
- Balances schedules, scope, budgets, and IT resources
- Maintain and continue the development of existing applications and processes
- Work onsite in a team-based and open office environment
Your Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC)
- High-level experience in all ranges of Information Technology positions
- Knowledge of project management methods, or affiliations with the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Experience in the financial services or similar industry
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
- Excellent skills in spreadsheets, email, database software, and project tracking tools such as MS Project
- Exposure to Microsoft Project Server
- Business-like communication skills, particularly on the phone
- Ability to work under numerous deadlines, including intra-day
- Familiarity with Microsoft Solutions Framework
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Compensation:
- $125,000 - $165,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
- Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
